FIRST GEN CORPORATION

a. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / FINANCE MANAGER
     JOB CODE NO.:  HO12001


Job Description:

• Assumes the lead role in finance and business development activities such as financial modeling and valuation, conduct of due diligence, contract review and negotiations, creditor relations and financing, government liaison, project planning
• Participates in contract review together with other team members to ensure that risks to the company are eliminated, minimized or properly managed.
• Coordinates with the relevant internal and external parties to ensure completion of projects
• Analyzes current and potential issues/problems that affect the company’s project(s), recommends solutions, and implements/oversees implementation of the agreed solutions to these issues and problems

Professional Qualification:

• CPA/CFA/Post-graduate degree in a finance-related course.
• 3-5 years experience in credit research and analysis, preferably gained from Financial Institutions or Public Rating Agencies.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, financial modeling, as well as some knowledge of credit and banking products, credit analytics, risk assessment and valuation.
• Knowledge on the power industry is preferable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Powerpoint)


b. ASST. MANAGER - FINANCE
    JOB CODE NO.:  HO12002


Job Description:

• Responsible for managing finance agreements for the operating companies of First Gen.  Monitors, reviews and implements and ensures compliance to all lender requirements and loan covenants.  Conducts monitoring of loan repayments and interest payments to all lenders and ensures accuracy of interest charges and other fees. 
• Expedites and implements daily disbursements for US dollar and Peso disbursement/payments/deals by monitoring cash balances, downloading of bank statements, checking with support document and instructions and preparing summary of cash balances.
• Prepares own financial model of the operating companies of First Gen.
• Prepares and monitors the budget for the operating companies of First Gen by consolidating the budgets of the various companies, updating the financial models, comparing the model/budget with actual monthly financial reports and checking for variances.
• Prepares financial projects and implement restricted payments for Sponsors.
• Prepares presentations and other management reports.
• Performs due diligence and concentrates on financial issues for business development opportunities by reading and reviewing all financial agreements and contracts.
• Prepares and ensure timely submission of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reports of borrowing, foreign exchange transaction reports and other reportorial requirements of other government agencies/financial institutions.

Professional Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration
• 2 – 3 years experience in finance, treasury or investment

 

c. ASST. MANAGER – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCE

Job Description:

• Establish and manage the Customer Credit Analysis Process
• Review and monitor the Credit standing of existing and potential customers of the Company
• Coordinate with other subsidiaries in creating customer strategies, service bundles/packages, and terms

Professional Qualification:

d. ENGINEER II – PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Job Description:

Supervise the progress of various phases of a project and works closely with other team members to meet project milestones in a timely and efficient manner.  Coordinate with relevant external parties.  Perform the following functions as may be required:

•    Procurement of Services

•    Cost-Benefit Analysis

Professional Qualification:

• Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

e. SR. ANALYST

Job Description:

• Ensure timely implementation of ERM-related initiatives, projects, programs, policies and procedures.
• Implement policies, procedures and systems for identification, collection and analysis of risk-related information.
• Prepare risk and progress reports of ERM-related activities.
• Recommend appropriate trainings/seminars/conferences on ERM to ensure the continuing awareness and education of the organization.
• Implement the organization’s ERM system.

Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Management Engineering or any Management-related course
• Preferably  with 1 year experience related


f. JR. ANALYST
    JOB CODE NO.:  HO12006


Job Description:

• Conduct and coordinate financial, market, operations and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and to assist business development efforts.
• Assist in providing inputs for financial models and providing basic analysis to guide business decisions to enhance economic value of current and new business.
• Prepare presentations to senior management and the board of directors.

Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any business related course
• Preferably  with 1 year experience in doing financial modelling


g. ACCOUNTANT
    JOB CODE NO.:  HO12007

Job Description:
• Check and record payables and related taxes in accordance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with proper approval of the vouchers payable.
• Record other Company transactions such as interest income, dollar investments and employee advances in accordance with accounting and tax standards.
• Prepare tax returns and other needed attachments, coordinates approval of the tax returns and ensures timely submission of tax returns and payment of taxes in compliance with the BIR regulations.
• Prepare schedules an analysis in support to the financial statements and tax reports.

Professional Qualification:
• Degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant
• With 1-2 years audit experience in handling accounts payable and tax requirements

 

h. SECRETARY
     JOB CODE NO.:  HO12008


Job Description:

• Perform clerical functions such as typing/ encoding, photocopying, sending facsimile messages, etc.
• Manage and safe-keep the department’s documents and records.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communication.
• Manage the appointment schedules of the department.
• Assist in the preparation for department activities or special functions.

Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Business-related course
• At least one (1) year experience in a secretarial function


i. AUDIT STAFF

Job Description:

• Prepare audit programs and timetable for audit engagements.
• Conduct engagement field word based on the approved audit program.
• Document internal audit engagement.
• Monitor corrective action on previous audit findings.
• Assist in preparing the annual audit plan and budget.

• Prepare reports and facilitate presentation of audit findings.

Professional Qualification:

• Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Internal Auditor
• At least 1 year experience in external or internal audit

k. CONTRACTS AND RISK OFFICER

Job Description:

• Contract administration, interpretation and resolution of contractual issues
• Document review with high attention to detail
• Attend to insurance related matters
• Implement Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and related risk management programs
• Provide support to ensure compliance with financing agreements covenants
• Interface with contractors, insurers, lenders and potential investors

Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management
• Three (3) years work experience in project implementation in the power industry
• Working knowledge, skill and experience in administering construction, operation and/or maintenance contracts for independent power producers
• Working experience in administering insurance policies
• Experience in contract negotiation is an advantage
• Willing to be assigned in Batangas

• At least 1 year experience in external or internal audit


l. HEALTH AND SAFETY ENGINEER
   JOB CODE NO.:  SO12002


Job Description:


The position will provide expert support in the aspects of safety and health at the project site and assist in the quality assurance functions. This additional compliment will likewise address concerns on career planning for the safety and health functions of the Department to ensure continuity of program implementation.

Professional Qualification:

• Licensed Engineer
• Accredited Safety Practitioner
• Working knowledge in construction and  operational safety practices
• Working knowledge in the conduct of Hazard Identification, Job Hazard Analysis, Job Safety Analysis, Environmental Aspect and Impact Assessment and Behavioral Observation System Implementation.
• Working knowledge in the operations and maintenance processes in a power industry environment
• Working knowledge in Occupational Health administration
• Good presentation skills
• Knowledge in the use of statistical tools
• Willing to be assigned in Batangas
