Our Assets

First Gen is the leading clean and renewable energy company in the Philippines with an installed capacity of 3,047.4 MW. This accounts for about 20 percent of the country's total installed capacity. Our plants are scattered over all three Philippine grids - Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

First Gen utilizes mainly indigenous, clean and renewable energy, except for its Bauang Power Plant which uses bunker fuel. Its Santa Rita and San Lorenzo plants use natural gas while water runs the Pantabangan-Masiway and Agusan mini-hydro plants. EDC, meanwhile, is the country's largest geothermal producer.

At present, First Gen's power plants have long-term contracts with Meralco and/or NPC while the the 1.6-MW Agusan mini-hydro plants' offtaker is Cepalco. First Gen also has supply contracts with electric cooperatives and other distribution utilities.
