Oscar M. Lopez is Chairman Emeritus of First Gen Corporation (First Gen or the Company), First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPH), Energy Development Corporation (EDC), First Gen Hydro Power Corporation (FG Hydro), Lopez Holdings Corporation (Lopez Holdings, formerly Benpres Holdings Corporation), Red Vulcan Holdings Corporation (Red Vulcan), Prime Terracota Holdings Corp. (Prime Terracota), First Gen Energy Solutions, Inc. (FGES), First Gas Holdings Corporation (FGHC), First Gas Power Corporation (FGPC), FGP Corp. (FGP), First Gas Pipeline Corporation (FGPipeline), First NatGas Power Corp. (FNPC), AlliedGen Power Corp. (AlliedGen), Green Core Geothermal, Inc. (Green Core), Unified Holdings Corporation (Unified), First Gen Renewables Inc. (FGRI), and FG Bukidnon Power Corp. (FG Bukidnon). He is also a member of the board of ABS-CBN Corporation. Mr. Lopez has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Littauer School of Public Administration, Harvard University (1955). Mr. Lopez also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Harvard University (1951).

Lopez is Chairman and CEO of First Gen, FPH, EDC, FG Hydro, FGHC, FGPC, FGP, FGES, Unified, FGPipeline, FNPC, AlliedGen, Green Core, Red Vulcan, Prime Terracota, FGRI, FG Bukidnon, OneCore Holdings Inc. (OneCore), DualCore Holdings Inc.(DualCore), GoldSilk Holdings Corp (GoldSilk), First Philippine Power Systems, Inc., and First Philippine Industrial Corp. He is Chairman of First Balfour, Inc., First Phil. Dev’t. Corp., First Phil. Electric Corp., First Phil. Industrial Park, Inc., First Phil. Realty Corp., First Phil. Realty & Dev’t. Corp., First Phil. Utilities Corp. and Securities Transfer Services, Inc. and Treasurer of Lopez Holdings, Inc. He sits in the boards of ABS-CBN Corporation, ABS Bayan Microfinance and Panay Electric Co., Inc. He is also Vice Chairman of Rockwell Land Corporation. Mr. Lopez is a Trustee of Philippine Business for Social Progress and Chairman of Philippine Solar Car Challenge Society, Inc. Mr. Lopez is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations (cum laude, 1983).
Francis Giles B. Puno is President and COO of First Gen, FGHC, FGPC, FGP, FGES, FGRI, FG Bukidnon, Unified, FGPipeline, FNPC, AlliedGen, Red Vulcan, OneCore, DualCore and GoldSilk, and Director, Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of FPH. He sits in the boards of EDC, FG Hydro, and Green Core. Mr. Puno has a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University (1990) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University (1985).
Richard B. Tantoco is the President and COO of EDC. He is also a Director and Executive Vice President of First Gen, First Gen Luzon Power Corp., FG Hydro, First Gen Geothermal Power Corporation, First Gen Visayas Hydro Power Corporation, First Gen Mindanao Hydro Power Corporation, FGES, First Gen Premier Energy Corp., Red Vulcan, First Gen Visayas Energy Inc., First Gen Prime Energy Corporation, FGRI, Blue Vulcan Holdings Corp., Northern Terracotta Power Corp., Prime Meridian Powergen Corporation, OneCore, DualCore, GoldSilk, FGHC, FGPC, FGP, FGPipeline, FNPC, AlliedGen and FGLand Corp. He is also EVP of FG Bukidnon, Unified, First Gen Northern Energy Corp., and First Philippine Holdings. He was recently elected as one of the Board of Trustees and President of the Oscar M. Lopez Center for Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management Foundation, Inc. He has been a Director of the International Geothermal Association since 2010. He worked previously with management consulting firm Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Inc. in New York and London where he specialized in mergers and acquisition advisory, turnaround strategy advisory, and growth strategy formulation for media and manufacturing companies. Mr. Tantoco has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania (1993) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University where he graduated with honors (1988).
Peter D. Garrucho, Jr. sits in the boards of FPH, EDC, FG Bukidnon, FG Hydro, FGES, FGRI, Red Vulcan, FGHC, FGPC, FGP, FGPipeline, FNPC, AlliedGen, and Unified. Until his retirement in January 2008 as Managing Director for Energy of FPH, Mr. Garrucho held the positions of Vice Chairman and CEO of the Company. Mr. Garrucho has an AB-BSBA degree from De La Salle University (1966) and a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University (1971).
Elpidio L. Ibanez sits in the boards of EDC, FG Bukidnon, FGHC, FGPC, FGP, Unified, FGRI, FNPC, AlliedGen, and FGPipeline. He also serves as President and COO of FPH. Mr. Ibañez obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines (1975) and a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University (1972).
Eugenio L. Lopez III is a member of the board of FPH and is the Chairman and CEO of ABS-CBN Corporation. Mr. Lopez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Bowdoin College (1974), and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School (1980).
Tony Tan Caktiong (Independent Director) is the Chairman and CEO of retail giant Jollibee Foods Corp. He is a director of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company and is at the helm of Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Mang Inasal in the Philippines, and Yonghe King and Hong Zhuang Yuan in China. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Asian Institute of Management, St. Luke’s Medical Hospital, Philippine Business for Education, and the Temasek Foundation of Singapore. He is an Agora Awardee for Outstanding Marketing Achievement, Triple A Alumni Awardee of the Asian Institute of Management, TOYM Awardee for Entrepreneurship, and a recipient of the World Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2004. Mr. Caktiong has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas (1975) and has management tutoring certifications from Harvard University, Asian Institute of Management, University of Michigan Business School, and Harvard Business School.
Jaime I. Ayala (Independent Director) was awarded the 2013 Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year and 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Philippines. He was President and CEO of publicly-listed Ayala Land, Inc. (“ALI”) and Senior Managing Director of Ayala Corporation. During his presidency, ALI made significant contributions to Philippine national development and employment by launching 2 new cities (Bonifacio Global City and Nuvali), expanding its residential portfolio, pioneering business process outsourcing campuses, and opening new lifestyle shopping complexes. Prior to joining Ayala Corporation, he was a director (global senior partner) at McKinsey & Company, the world’s leading top-management consulting firm, where he worked for 19 years across 29 countries. At McKinsey, he played a number of global and regional leadership roles, including President of McKinsey’s Manila office. Mr. Ayala sits as a trustee in the Princeton University Board of Trustees, World Wildlife Fund of the Philippines, and the Philippine Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation. He is the Chairman for Southeast Asia of the Economic Development Network of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and serves as Advisory Board Member of the Bamboo Global Energy (Solar for All) Fund and Clean Engines International. Mr. Ayala earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School (1988) where he graduated with honors, and completed his undergraduate work at Princeton University (1984) where he graduated magna cum laude in Economics, with a minor in Engineering.
