First Gen Corporation today announced its intention to increase its authorized capital stock from Php3,270 million to Php7,250 million in line with the company’s stock rights offering of approximately Php 15 billion.

First Gen Corporation (First Gen) reported net income attributable to parent of USD20.3 million in the first half of 2009, marginally lower than the USD20.7 million net income in the same period of 2008.

First Gen Hydro Power Corporation (FG Hydro), a subsidiary of Lopez-controlled First Gen Corp., recently received full certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) for its environmental management system (ISO 14001:2004) and occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001:2007).
