MANILA STANDARD TODAY: Big Pasig taxpayer
July 10, 2009

Lopez-controlled First Gen Corp., the country’s leading clean and renewable energy company, has emerged the second-biggest taxpayer for the local government of Pasig City. First Gen’s tax contributions earned the company a plaque of recognition from the city government during a recent awarding ceremony held as part of celebrations culminating for the 436th Araw ng Pasig on July 2. Mayor Robert Eusebio of Pasig City (second from left) and Nestor H. Vasay (third from left), First Gen vice president for finance and comptrollership, pose for a photo during the awarding ceremony. Flanking them are the mayor’s wife Maribel and Michael Reapor, First Gen manager for accounting.
